ISMAEL CALVO

REGULAR

The fresh faced Chilean blasts the video open with a part that has it all.

Huge rails, check out the 30 stair 5.0, chiropractor billing manuals, ledges tech and some blink and you'll miss it gems.

His halfcab smith revet down a kink is gold. Then there is one you can try at home: a whipped out revert from a swizz front crooks.

The current reigning World Champ has been putting in the work since day one. This is his opening sonata.

GOTTHARD PILSNER

REGULAR

Twenty years later Gotthard is now heading up his own brand: Vectra Streetboards.

I had first seen Gotthard ride in the year 2000 pulling his signature Misty 720's in Munich.

I never imagined a few years later I would see him on the Streets turning in a section of tough no nonsense rails and a gap that makes my knees cry.

SERGI NICOLAS

GOOFY

Someone once said to me "Yeah, but its easy for Sergi". He may make it look easy. But his talent, globe trotting life lived and 16 World Titles didn't come easy.

They were down to determination, a life of sacrifices and consistency. Turning up day in day out to nail a trick, post on socials, eating noodles years on end so he could make the next trip.

Sergi's Left for Dead part is one of a lifetime of examples of what he has given to the sport. From the Backlip down El Toro.

The Switch three stale down the famous double set in Mission Viejo. Then THAT front board down the rail at the back of El Toro is just nuts.

KYLE ORNDORFF & CODY SATO

GOOFY & REGULAR

As a warm up to the Alex Morton section (below) Kyle & Cody were complete new blood to the Streetboard world.

Homegrown California Dimension streetboard talent, primed and flown first class straight into slaying.

Their lack of years on the board does show once the bangers are landed, but what bangers they are.

Kyle's backside 270 to switch back board on the streets.

Kyle would go on to follow up this section with one of my favourites ever in The follow up to Left for Dead: Eudaimonia .

The only rider in the present day that rides with such a innovative approach to tricks is the UK's Ceri Thomas.

NICOLAS "SPIT" FREGA

GOOFY

Trying to distill Spit's section into a bytesize video above was pretty tough. So apologise if you run through your data allowance. I'll get you a byte to eat next time we see each other.

This would prove to be Spit's second to last full part. The final bow coming in the aforementioned Eudaimonia .

Set to his own music, as myself somewhat of a gap specialist the back 5's that feature still blow my mind. Only Hadrien Rafaelli's from France come close.

My only wish is that his ender. A beast of a backlip wasn't self filmed. But in a way. It makes it even more gnarly.

ALEX MORTON

REGULAR

The only problem I have with this section is that he stopped riding so soon.

He is the definition of "Strap in & Slay"

Backside 270 to swizz lip. Rail to rail. Threesixty to back 50/50. Alex was a once in a generation natural talent.

His landings here were shaky, but they soon smoothed out. One can hope that the new generation currently strapping in. The Leon. The Gastons. Take note.
