The late 2000’s and early 2010’s were a bubbling period in Streetboarding. A period in which the break outs of the early 2000’s cemented their status’ as GOATs (looking at you Sergi, Ismael TK & Gabi). It was a period that today’s stars, look no further than this year’s Street board World Championship’s finals list for proof, really started to shine: Jordi Purcalla, David La Rotta, Bernat Pommerol to mention just a few.
The Barcelona Streetboarder video series was one of the key drivers of this: Across multiple trips to the Streetboarding Mecca of Barcelona, Kai Hammen captured the era from behind the lens, as well as laying down some insane bangers infant of it.
